Steadying his crew
The lifeboats were still attached, unused. The anchors hadn’t been deployed. That suggested the ship hadn’t intended to stop here. It was as if it drifted and just gave up. But how? Where was the crew? The passengers? Morgan turned to his squad. “We’ll establish visual contact on all sides, and then plan our entry. No one goes on board yet. Clear?” The men nodded silently.
