By playing Bethany Platt in Coronation Street, Lucy Fallon earned widespread recognition as a rising star on British television. The role even won her two British Soap Awards and a National Television Award. But after her contract ended in 2020, she decided to leave the ITV soap opera to work on other projects.
Upon participating in All Star Musicals, an ITV Christmas special that aired in December 2017, Fallon won with the most votes for her take on Don’t Cry for Me Argentina of the musical Evita. In November 2020, the 25-year-old celeb appeared in the channel’s reality mini-series Don’t Rock the Boat.
