CASSANDRA PETERSON – AGE 70
Cassandra Peterson, a.k.a. Elvira Mistress of the Dark, shot to fame thanks to her gothic alter ego. As the buxom dark mistress, she donned gothic makeup and presented weekly B-movie showings on a local Los Angeles TV station. Her allure and elaborate costume garnered her a cult following in the ‘80s and beyond.
Fast forward to today, and Peterson is alive and well at 69. She’s anticipating the release of her memoir Yours Cruelly, Elvira, in September 2021. She still dresses up as her onscreen persona from time to time but lets her authentic flawless self shine through more.
