Lucy’s worry subsided
Lucy examined Katrina’s hand carefully, relief washing over her when she saw no lasting harm. “It doesn’t hurt?” she asked Katrina.

The little girl shook her head. “No, Mommy, it’s fine now.” Lucy sighed, her worry subsiding a bit. “Thank goodness,” she murmured.
Robert gave her a reassuring smile. “I think it was just some kind of strange residue,” he said. “
But we should keep an eye on it, just in case.” Lucy nodded, feeling a bit calmer.
