Cryptic warnings
The man appeared reticent, offering only cryptic warnings. “They come and go,” he said softly, his eyes fixed on the horizon. “
What do you mean?” Robert pressed. The man shook his head. “This isn’t the first time. It won’t be the last.” Robert’s frustration grew.
“Can you be more specific?” The man finally looked at him, his gaze intense. “Be careful. Some things are best left alone.”
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Robert with more questions than answers.
