Impending disaster
The man started rambling about an impending disaster, his voice low and urgent. “You have no idea what’s coming,”
he said, glancing around nervously. “What do you mean?” Robert asked, leaning in closer. The man shook his head, as if struggling with how much to reveal.
“There are hidden truths, dangerous ones,” he muttered. Robert’s heart raced. “You need to be more specific,” he insisted.
The man sighed heavily, the weight of his words hanging in the air.
