Keeping busy at work
As I went back to my desk, my mind was still swirling with too many questions. What did Emmett mean? Why was he so jumpy?
I needed to distract myself, so I buried my head into work. Filing reports and answering emails became my goal for the morning.
Staying productive kept the buzzing thoughts at bay, even if just for the time being. It was a temporary fix, but at least it gave me a bit of relief.
