Tension in the office
Looking around the office, I started noticing how tense everything felt. It was like a heavy cloud had settled over the place.
People who usually smiled and chatted had hushed tones today. They glanced at me, then quickly looked away, pretending to be busy with their screens.
It was as if I had a mysterious mark on me, and everyone seemed to know something I didn’t. It made me uneasy.
