Hiding the file
Panic setting in, I quickly shoved the file into my drawer, hoping no one noticed. My mind was racing with a million questions with no answers.
I thought about what Emmett said earlier. Was this connected to his warning? Or maybe someone was playing a prank?
Either way, I knew I needed to think fast and figure out my next steps before anyone asked questions.
