Inconsistencies noticed
As the days went by, the father started to notice small inconsistencies with the newborn. There were minor details that didn’t add up: her hair color seemed slightly different, her cry sounded unexpectedly low.
He kept these observations to himself, fearing he might sound paranoid. Yet, each little inconsistency added another layer to his already burgeoning concern.
