Questioning the staff
Unable to shake his concerns, the father decided to question the hospital staff. He approached a nurse and explained his worries.
‘I’ve noticed some inconsistencies,’ he began hesitantly. The nurse reassured him with a smile, ‘It’s common for parents to feel this way.
Newborns can surprise us.’ Even the doctor who delivered the baby confirmed that everything was in order.
Yet, despite the reassurances, the father’s unease did not dissipate.
