During their conversation, the father mentioned the distinctive birthmark that everyone in their family shared. The doctor raised his eyebrows.
‘That is unusual,’ he said thoughtfully. The father continued, ‘Her hair color, her cry, there’s so much that’s different. It’s not adding up.
‘ The doctor leaned back, considering. ‘It might be nothing, but we should look into it,’ he advised.
