Preparing for DNA results
The father prepared himself for whatever the DNA results would reveal. He confronted his wife, explaining his actions and the steps he had taken to uncover the truth.
“I need to do this, for all of us,” he said, showing her the receipt from the DNA test. She looked disheartened but understood his need for certainty.
“I hope the results prove she’s ours,” she said quietly, worry etched on her face.
