Unaware of Reality
I overheard bits of excited conversation as the man chose his new car, oblivious to the drama he’d unknowingly entered. “
I’ve always heard this dealership provides the best,” he praised, shaking Liam’s hand firmly. I wanted to laugh, realizing the stark difference in our experiences.
It was amusing and saddening to think he really believed in this facade. Perhaps I’d have found it equally spectacular without the unwelcome reception.
But my reality was too clear to ignore.
