Polite but passive-aggressive
Using a combination of polite but passive-aggressive tactics, I began asking the flight attendants for numerous small favors—extra pillows, multiple drink refills, and even some additional snacks—always disclaiming that the honeymooners had kindly suggested it to me.
Each time, I made sure they overheard my requests, attributing my needs to their ‘generosity.’ The flight attendants complied, slightly confused but obliging my polite requests.
Slowly, this began to wear on the couple’s nerves.
