Inside was an old photograph of her grandfather with a group of unknown men. The picture was worn, edges frayed, and colors faded. “
Who are these men?” Emma asked, peering over Fay’s shoulder. Fay shook her head, her mind racing. “I have no idea, but they must be important.”
She examined the faces, trying to recall any of them. The photograph felt like a key to a door she needed to unlock.
