Fay and Officer Kumber decided to confront Mr. Holling again for more information. They met him at a quiet café, hoping he’d be more forthcoming this time.
“We need answers, Mr. Holling,” Kumber said firmly. “There are too many loose ends.” Mr. Holling sighed, clearly uncomfortable. “
I told you everything I know,” he replied, avoiding eye contact. Fay leaned forward. “Please, we just want the truth,” she implored.
