Feeling watched
Fay couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched. Everywhere she went, she felt eyes on her.
At Emma’s house, she constantly looked over her shoulder. “It’s just paranoia,” she told herself, but the feeling persisted.
One night, she saw a shadow move outside the window. “Emma, did you see that?” Fay whispered. Emma shook her head. “You’re safe here,”
she assured her. But Fay knew she couldn’t let her guard down.
