Checking In Trouble
Near the front desk, a young couple stood with puzzled expressions. They seemed confused, squinting at their phones.
I approached closer, watching as they struggled. ‘It’s not here,’ the woman said, glancing worriedly at her partner.
They couldn’t find their reservation, and I got the feeling nobody would step up to help them.
