During lunch at a nearby café, my ears perked up when I heard someone mention the hotel’s name over a steaming cup of coffee.
An employee, talking to a colleague, mentioned ‘VIP coming soon—big preparations are already in the works!
’ They sounded both nervous and excited, which made me curious. I sipped my drink, pretending to be engrossed in my newspaper while thinking about what this VIP visit could mean for the hotel.
