Comedy Suggestion
Brian nudged me, pointing at the screen. ‘Hey, how about we pick a comedy?’ He grinned, trying to lighten the mood. ‘Might take your mind off things.
‘ Figured it was worth a shot. We picked something goofy, and soon enough, jokes had us chuckling. It wasn’t a fix but the laughter helped chip away a bit of the strange awkwardness hanging over our row.
