People mocked Bill, stating that he was losing it. Some even accused him of robbing the town’s junkyard. “Where else could one man get so many tires?”
But Bill didn’t care. He ignored all the talk and kept working day and night, hauling in black rubber wheels until they stuck out high above the fencing.
