Jonathan’s mother grabbed her husband’s arm and led him away from their son. They found an empty corner of the venue, away from prying eyes and ears. “We don’t have much time,” she whispered.
“We need to put our plan in motion now, before the ceremony starts.” Jonathan’s father nodded, his expression hardening. “We’ll start with the slideshow.”
