Susan Boyle – 50 Lbs
Susan Boyle’s talent is so prodigious she didn’t even need to win Britain’s Got Talent to become a star when she entered it. She just sang the song “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Misérables’ and she not only became an instant hit, but her first album became the fastest-selling debut album in UK history.
But she also suffers from Asperger’s syndrome, a type of autism that is dominated by social anxiety. She was also diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and did something about it by cutting down on sugar and exercising regularly, helping her lose 50 pounds. She still lives in the council estate she grew up in.
