John Goodman – 100 Lbs
John Goodman is well known for playing large and larger-than-life characters. These include Fred Flintstone in “The Flintstones” movie and Howard Stambler in “10 Cloverfield Lane.” But at one point, he was a little too large and tipped the scales at 400 pounds.
He acknowledged this and the fact that his life was in turmoil by not only overhauling his diet but his lifestyle as well. Goodman quit drinking and attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. He also started following a Mediterranean diet, which is plant-based and low in red meat. He returned to the “Monsters, Inc.” franchise as Sulley in a 2021 sequel called “Monsters At Work.”
