Inspecting the Doll
As days passed, the doll seemed to always be in line with our activities. Whether we were dinner or relaxing on the couch, it was as if its tiny eyes were watching.
Curiosity got the best of me. I decided it was time to take a closer look. Picking it up, I turned it over carefully, running my fingers along its surfaces.
It felt odd doing this, as if probing the unknown, but I couldn’t stop myself.
