There were no words, but the animal’s wild motions screamed of desperation. Andrew watched helplessly as it continued to spin and huff, making short, grunting calls toward the tree line.
The same creature that had nuzzled him gently just moments ago now looked panicked, like something was terribly wrong. Andrew felt a chill as he whispered, “What are you trying to say?”
