Calling out
Standing tall, Suzan cupped her hands around her mouth and called, “Hello? Is anyone in there?” Her voice echoed softly through the trees. She waited, listening for any movement, but there was only silence.
Uneasy, she tried again. “My name is Suzan! I’m just hiking through. Are you all right?” Still, there was no answer from inside the bus.
