Searching for clues
Suzan stepped further inside the van, scanning the dusty interior for any sign of life. Her eyes went to the back corner where a torn sleeping bag lay in a heap, surrounded by dented food containers.
She crouched beside them, running her fingers over the frayed fabric. Whoever had been living here had done so for a long time.
