Into the Tunnel
“Okay… this is it,” she whispered softly to herself, her voice trembling slightly. Lowering her body carefully down onto the dusty floor, she eased her legs first toward the opening.
Sliding slowly feet-first into the narrow tunnel, she crawled forward on her elbows as the van’s dim light disappeared.
