Determined to confront him, Elara summoned what little strength she had and demanded a meeting with Caden.
The hospital’s dimly lit visitor’s lounge became the stage for their confrontation. As Caden entered, his eyes filled with guilt and unease, Elara could feel a cold fury brewing inside her.
