Planning the future
Sitting at the lawyer’s office, I thought about my future plans. “So, what’s next for you?” Sarah asked, looking up from her papers.
“I’m considering some traveling,” I responded nonchalantly. “And maybe buying a few new properties.” She nodded approvingly.
It felt liberating to think beyond the island and its hidden secret. As for Amy, her journey with the island was just beginning, completely unaware of what it entailed.
