Losing patience
The noise of the crowd grew louder. People were losing patience. The entertainment had stopped, and confusion replaced amusement. Murmurs turned into complaints. “What’s wrong with him?” a woman asked her husband.
“Is he scared now?” someone else chuckled. But no one knew what had caused the change.
