They act as if Mark doesn’t know what he’s saying! They try to make it seem as if he’s confused, as a result of his coma!
One of the doctors loudly tells everyone in the room, that Mark isn’t neurologically back to functioning.
It’s clearly an act, and Mark feels powerless.
