Curiosity shadows her past
Despite her birthday joy, there remained unanswered questions. Olivia’s curiosity about her past seemed to shadow her steps.
“Have you ever wondered if I have siblings?” she asked one evening, her voice softer than usual. Her words seemed to hold more weight as if she had been thinking long and hard about what she wanted to know about her past, and possibly her future.
It was clear wanting to know about her biological family was important to her, growing more evident in her thoughtful pauses between conversations.
