Cataloging Contents Room By Room
Inside, I started in the living room, photographing furniture, speakers, and the framed fish above the mantel for condition records.
I moved to electronics, pulled the TV forward, and photographed model labels and serial plates with the flash off.
In the den, I opened the cabinet, logged the outboard motor parts box, and took close‑ups of the barcode and warranty card.
Each item went onto a sheet in my planner with location, make, and condition notes. As I moved between rooms, I kept photos syncing to cloud storage.
