Securing Spare Keys From Kitchen
In the kitchen, the junk drawer slid open with a squeak, revealing three key rings, loose brass blanks, and two split rings.
I laid them out on a towel, matched tags to doors, and photographed each ring beside a sticky note with a number.
Two keys were labeled Shed and Dock; a third had no tag but matched the back padlock by its cuts. I bagged them in a zip pouch, walked outside, and locked the pouch inside my glovebox.
A quick note in my log marked chain of custody.
