Heating Invoices In Utility Closet
The utility closet off the hall held filters, paint cans, and a warped shoebox of receipts tied with twine.
I sorted the stack and found winter heating invoices stamped Paid, each listing my check numbers and service dates.
I photographed the fronts, backs, and bank imprints, then placed them in a plastic sleeve for the folder.
A furnace service tag hung from a nail with the technician’s initials and date in black marker. I added the sleeve to the blue folder, just behind the property history printout.
