Suspicious activities
The sister-in-law spies on their activities, trying to get ahold of these documents. ‘What are you all doing in here?
‘ she asked, her eyes narrowing as she caught sight of the letters. We quickly shuffled the papers out of her view.
‘Just going through some old things,’ I replied, trying to act nonchalant. She hovered around, clearly trying to get a closer look.
‘Can I help with anything?’ she offered, but her intentions were obvious. The air was thick with tension.
