With renewed determination, I continued my search at the cabin and discovered a hidden basement. The floorboards creaked as I walked, and I noticed a small, dusty rug in the corner.
Pulling it back revealed a wooden hatch. My heart raced as I lifted it, revealing a dark staircase descending into unknown depths.
Armed with a flashlight, I cautiously made my way down, each step echoing through the confined space below.
