Parents’ indifference
My parents, though seemingly loving, never intervened, which only fueled my feelings of abandonment. I can’t recall a single instance where they defended me or called out my siblings for their behavior.

Family outings were especially difficult; while other kids played together, I often found myself sitting alone.
They showed love in their own way but left me to fend off my siblings’ cruelty by myself. Being ignored made me wonder if I really belonged to this family.
