Confronting my siblings
Back in the present, I decided to confront my siblings about the will directly. We gathered in the family living room, the tension almost palpable.

‘Why was I left out of the will?’ I demanded, breaking the silence. My eldest brother smirked, ‘You really don’t know, do you?
‘ Their dismissive attitudes were infuriating, but I remained firm. It was clear that I wouldn’t get any straight answers from them, but I wasn’t going to stop until I did.
