Mother’s worries
In my mother’s journal, I read about her constant worry over family feuds but no mention of excluding me from the inheritance.
Her entries from years past spoke of endless arguments and unresolved conflicts. She wrote about the strain these tensions put on her, but never once did she mention why I would be left out.
It was clear that my parents cared about managing family disputes; it made no sense they’d intentionally hurt me with their will.
