Returning To The Car
I returned to the car, frustration burning in my chest. Why wouldn’t she stop for me? Was it pride, or was there something more?
It was hard to shake the feeling that she deliberately ignored me. Slamming the door shut, I sat there for a moment, the weight of helplessness settling like a stone within me.
I couldn’t let this end here; I had to find a way to reach her.
