Chase Returns Home
Chase returned home with his family, excited for a weekend of relaxation by the water. Unbeknownst to him, their expectations would soon be shattered.
The laughter of his children echoed as they approached the pier, imagining all the fun they would have.
However, as they rounded the corner, silence enveloped them. Chase’s smile faded, replaced with a puzzled expression, as he took in the empty space where their boat should have been.
