Defensive reaction
He reacted defensively, accusing me of spying and causing unnecessary drama. “Why are you always watching me?” he snapped.
I stayed calm, replying, “Because you’ve been acting suspiciously.” Our conversation grew heated. “You have no right to invade my privacy!”
he barked. His evasive answers only fueled my determination. As he stormed off, I realized this confrontation had made me more resolute.
If he wouldn’t talk, I’d have to dig for the truth myself.
