Matt wanted to open his mouth and respond but couldn’t find the right words. Charles noticed Matt’s utter confusion and decided it was time to finally let the cat out of the bag.
“I’m not just any old man, you know,” he started. “I’m the original owner and founder of the supermarket chain you work for.”
