As Kate pulled up to the farmhouse, Barbara stepped onto the porch, waving warmly. The moment Kate got out of her car, she was nearly tackled by five excited dogs. Sadie led the charge, her tail wagging furiously. Kate laughed as she knelt, hugging them all. “I missed you too, little ones!”
