I shrugged and smiled, pretending to brush off the sale like it was nothing. Inside, though, I was carefully piecing together my plan.
Every small step needed to fit right into the bigger scheme. The trick was being cool without giving away too much.
Richard being in town was part of it, but keeping focused on my idea was the biggest challenge. I knew that staying composed might just be my secret weapon.
