Another Day Gone
The shelter remained a hub of activity, full of chatter and movement throughout the day. Everyone was busy ensuring the animals were cared for, and, in all the hustle, another day slipped by without any change in the Bulldog’s condition.
Despite his cries growing softer, they echoed through the corner, overshadowed by the louder, happier sounds of the other animals finding some comfort in their temporary home.
